Great product for cleaning saddles

This restoration cream works great! I used it on the arms of a leather couch that had been pretty clawed up by our Maine Coon cats. It softened up the leather and made the scratch marks much less noticeable. I also tried it on an antique oak refrigerator. Just rubbed it on and buffed it. The results were phenomenal! It gave the wood a rich, luxurious finish, whereas it had a dull look prior to application. I'm sold on this product. Next I'll be trying it on my leather motorcycle jacket. Thanks.

This is our second jar of Skidmore’s and it’s the absolute best! It makes our rather worn leather chair look brand new again. Just rub it on with a soft cloth, allow the leather to absorb it and then lightly buff the area.

I bought this to restore a few older, really dry wood baskets. It was easy to use and my baskets look great! I bought it for my daughter after I tried it.

This stuff is nothing short of FABULOUS! I purchased it for use on a very old, but very comfortable reclining leather chair which looked "extremely tired" and was potentially ready to be sent to the great furniture stack in the sky. The initial application of Skidmore's cream restored the chair to "surprisingly nice" status with all the dried and cracking leather now deeper and richer in color, and the cracks themselves no longer immediately evident. I then waited a week and rubbed in a second application. AMAZING! The leather became even deeper in color, the cracks now effectively disappeared, and the leather had a soft, supple feel similar to what it was like when it was new - almost 20 years ago. I decided to also try Skidmore's on a pair of old sailing shoes (my wife and I are avid sailors) that actually had what Nancy refers to as "tide lines" in the leather from repeated immersions in salt water. I was incredulous when a single application eliminated the tide lines, and restored my 3 year old sailing shoes to nearly new condition. My only regret is that I did not take "before & after" photos. I will NEVER be without Skidmore's again!

Made my leather chair looks like new. Unfortunately for me my cats put deep scratches with their claws running around like lunatics, these deep scratches remain but now look almost invisable.

I’ve tried this on an antique table to “treat” a water-spot… with pretty good results, and applied it to my winter shoes & boots. Very good treatment for leather. I would definitely recommend!

I bought my first container of Skidmore at Rejuvenations nearly 10 years ago. I have vintage rosewood furniture that appeared to be dried out. The staff at Rejuvenations told me it was the best for reconditioning fine wood furniture. They were right. My furniture looked new after applying it as directed. I have been using Skidmore ever since. It may seem expensive; however, the product last a long time… nearly 10 years in my case.

My boots were drying out, showing signs of lightness in my tan-colored boots. This product tended to darken the light leather a little, but the leather is much softer and more malleable now.No buyer's remorse at all. Great, effective product!

This product did a great job of reconditioning worn and dry (rough) leather upholstery on a chair. I would highly recommend it. It is easy to use and did not have an unpleasant odor. It would really help keep leather conditioned too I used over half of the small container on a very badly dried and worn chair. It obviously cannot repair the damage but it improved it immensely. I followed their instructions for use on old damaged surfaces, using 0000 steel wool to apply and smooth the surface.

I used this on my leather couch and it did a good job but did an awesome job on a old stained hope chest. It brought the color back and gave it a nice shine. Definitely worth the price

I have been using the cleaner and conditioner that came with our leather couch and noticed the last time I used it that the conditioner caused some discoloration on the leather. So I needed a new product. On top of that, our new hound dog causes superficial scratch marks with her nails. I read a lot of reviews and settled on this product. I am so glad I did! After one use, my couch looked so much better. The discoloration is still there, but much less noticeable and all of the scratches are gone. My couch is softer too. I also used it on the my wood doors to buff out some scratches and on a bread board that sits on top of my stove. All three things were instantly renewed. This product out did other wood and leather conditoners and polishes I own. It might sound weird, although if you are reading this you are probably a lot like me, but I am excited to see what else I can improve around the house with this stuff! The scent is a bit strong, but I don't find it unpleasant by any means. You can go on the manufacturer website for instructions for use.

The most amazing stuff ever. I thought my sofa/couch was beyond hope of me ever fixing by myself. I had used professional leather wipes and leather cpr and didn’t see much of a result In the past. They both still seemed to dry it out and I just thought that was what happened. Then I got a bit obsessed due to my upcoming move, realizing I wanted to give it one last try before deciding to get rid of it. I looked at a lot of options. Knowing the wear and tear motorcycle seats go through I thought this might be the best option. I was a bit skeptical because to me the price seemed cheap if it did what it promised.It works! I followed the blog posting online on the Skidmore site being certain not to leave it on top long (15-30 minutes max) and buffing immediately. My husband has a sensitive nose and said it was strong smelling. It didn’t bother me at all. That is why it lost one star. I guess it will bother some. The sofa still seemed a little rough at first in spots but looked beautiful. The next morning it is softer. The site says that to see real results on dry areas you need to do it multiple times. I will be using it as instructed and I am sure I will be even happier with the appearance and feel of my sofa. It is not greasy and does not come off on clothes after it is buffed and absorbs/sets. I cannot recommend it enough.*Please note thay my sofa is already a dark color so it didn’t really darken it. It just brought it back to life.

Well, we made a mistake and left our nice brown leather recliner out on a covered patio in the backyard. For about two years. We covered it with plastic and a blanket but it came off sometimes and the sun beat down on it and the cat slept on it too. It took a beating, it was dried out, and totally faded. We didn't think it was repairable. I tried two products one from the hardware store and one from a grocery store. Both for restoring and conditioning leather. Neither worked well. They looked ok while the product was still wet, but as it dried it was dull and washed out looking. So, I investigated on Amazon. Found the jar of Skidmore's Restoration Cream, the price was more then I paid for the other's but still a good deal. It conditions well, brought back the color well and just gave it a restored look. We brought the chair back into the house and are using it. It really helped a lot. I will have this product on hand to condition all my leather products. In total we applied three coats of the cream. Buffing after each application. Doing three coats did not even use up half of the product. Thanks for a good product.

I waited 8 weeks to review my first purchase of Skidmore's Restoration Creme to see how it stood up to our leather sofa. I was also comparing it to 2 applications of Leather Honey. I loved the Skidmore's so much I put it on my subscription and have now used two containers of it!Skidmore's was easy to apply and soaked in with no residue left behind. I have a really old top grain leather sofa purchased second hand that had dried out with lots of tiny cracks and a couple of huge scratches. Sorry I didn't think to take photos of the before and after. Suffice it to say that after the initial application the sofa looked and felt great. The tiny surface cracks are no longer visible and the large scratches are less noticeable. The leather feels supple and has a nice sheen.While the Leather Honey was easy to apply and not greasy afterward, I didn't feel like it lasted very long, after about a month the sofa started looking dry. The Skidmore's held up with no appreciable dryness reoccurring. I applied a second application of the Restoration Creme again this week only because the sofa was so dry when we purchased it. I've have used it on a brand new leather chair (that now looks better than when it arrived) and my car interior. There is no greasiness after application and no odor. Ingredients are natural so I don't have to worry about sitting on toxins. It also works on wood. I collect mid-century wood decor and it does a fabulous job of reconditioning the wood. Have used on a table that had raised grain from a water mark and it helped disguise it considerably. This product is now a staple in my home cleaning supplies and I'm sure I'll find new ways to use it around the house.

I purchased this product based on others' reviews and was so impressed with it! I conditioned my three leather couches, which had started showing a little bit of wear and tear from cat claws and from General use.The beeswax in the polish really brought the life back to the leather, and the leather is so soft and supple. Unlike some polishes, there was no change in the color of my leather after using the restoration cream.Of course after that great result, I went after several other pieces of furniture including two Teak dressers, theb several pairs of shoes and finally several leather purses. It took me less than a day to use my entire first order!I did buy more recently to make sure I would have some on hand. This is an excellent leather and furniture polish and I recommend it highly.When you're using it, don't bother with paper towels. Use a thin rag because some of the product will be absorbed into the material. The paper towel falls apart but the rag will allow you to do your entire job wasting minimal product.Allow the product to sit on your leather, furniture, shoes, or etc for several minutes to deeply soak into the leather or the wood. Then use a dry, soft cloth to lightly buff any excess product away and enjoy your shiny, conditioned pieces!
