Nice job

Great product. Tried this out on our oak dining room chairs. Having raised 4 kids they have seen lots of use and needed a little freshening up. Attached are before and after pix of one of the seats. Sorry exposure is a little different (took first photo in the afternoon with some sunlight coming through window. Second photo taken later in the evening after sunset. Had to wait as per instructions until product had time to cure before buffing it out). I think the difference still shows up pretty clearly. Seat definitely looks better. Look forward to trying this on some other pieces.

Product is great

Really, the product is great. Instead of putting wall to wall carpeting (cost close to $2,000) in what was the storage room but will be a walk-in closet, I cleaned and put the wood finish on it. Looks terrific! And the cost was way less than $200.00. The problem was that whoever packaged the 2 pints I ordered from Amazon, put them in a padded envelope. The wood finish leaked out all over everything. I needed more to finish and I went directly to the website. I hope the packaging will be better. Note: Normally, I find Amazon's packing fine. This is one of the only times I've had a problem.

It only takes minutes to restore a tired finish to one that glows beautifully

I purchased a sweet old rocking chair from a second-hand store intending to paint it. As I was browsing online, I read about Skidmore’s Liquid Beeswax Wood Finish and decided to try it. The dull, tired looking rocking chair now has a warm wood finish with a beautiful golden hue to it. I love it!

It's easy to apply and after buffing

This is my second can of Skidmore's liquid beeswax, of which I never be without. It's easy to apply and after buffing, it gives an excellent protective surface. Use it on my kitchen table that withstands multiple uses. The smell of the beeswax is the icing on the cake. It smells divine!

Huge fan!!

I'm a woodturner and this stuff is excellent. It leaves the wood nourished and really brings out the woods beauty without changing the color.

This stuff is really great. Smells nice too

I have some scratches on my bedroom doors from wheeling our bird cage in and out.. I used this beeswax product and I can barely see them anymore. I thought we would have to totally stand and refinish. This stuff is really great. Smells nice too.

Perfect for table saw

I primarily make cutting boards, so I wanted some sort of food-safe protector for my saw's table. This is exactly that. The table tends to corrode in this high-humidity environment, but this seems to be doing a great job of preventing corrosion, minimizing friction, and remaining food-safe. Couldn't ask for more.

Safe!

Not only is this product SAFE but also smells so good!!! I used it as a finishing and protecting coat for a drift piece of root I found at the beach, it worked so well! I still have half can (it can go a long ways!) but if I ever need more, will buy it again. ;)

I ordered Skidmore's liquid beeswax and it worked beautifully on my table

I have a valuable bronze coffee table, and had been advised to use liquid beeswax on it yearly. I had been unable to find liquid beeswax and using paste beeswax was a disaster. I ordered Skidmore's liquid beeswax and it worked beautifully on my table, despite having some unidentified malodorous oil mixed with it. The only problem I had - and it was a significant problem - is that the lid was so tightly inserted into the can that I could not open it. Even my much younger muscular son had great difficulty opening the can. The company should make it easier for customers to gain access to the product.

Good product, but expensive for ammount.

Price is on the expensive side. Great product, been using it over 20 years.

Smooth, soft, long lasting finish.

I used this product on the legs and chairs of a dinning room table I refinished. I used this product several times. Great furniture protection with cottage feel. Easy to use, and a little bit goes a long way. Dries to a perfect soft finish. Best I’ve used.

This product is fantastic! It works it's magic on wood furniture

This product is fantastic! It works it's magic on wood furniture. Since we live in Colorado where the climate is super dry, we need to oil our wood furniture often. I love that Skidmore Liquid Beeswax Wood finish is made from natural ingredients. We have also used the Skidmore's cream and that is great, too. Both the cream and the liquid last a long time because a little amount goes a long way!

Works well on leather and wood

The only downside is the cost. Other that that I like the product. Works well on cleaning the leather furniture

Recenty purchased this product and so far have had excellent results.

I've been working with wood all of my life and have tried many products looking for the best finish that brings out the character of the wood and that lasts a reasonable amount of time. Up until now Watco oil has been my preference. In my opinion it really does justice to the wood however it gives off a strong unpleasnt odor until it is dry and can even auto ignite if left on wadded up rags. Tung oil is also a good finish and is a natural oil from seeds of the tung tree. I recently bought a pint of Skidmore's to try it out. When I opened the can I immediately liked the odor and the feel of it. It seems much more natural than Watco. I believe they both use tung or linseed oil which both go well with wood but Skidmore's uses beeswax instead of VOCs like the varnish in Watco oil. So far I have only used Skidmore's on a small picture frame but am really pleased with the result and it was a pleasure instead of a nuisance to work with. If I continue to get results like this I will definitely use it on the interior of the house we are building and other future projects. So far no negatives only positives.

There is a bit of an oder but it quickly disappears. And I actually liked the smell.

I used this on an old stone house wooden floor that was built in 1780. It soaked into the wood and brought out the wood grain and left a lovely patina. I had to buy more so that I could do all the floors in the entire house. This stuff is awesome. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to keep my family's collection of Birkenstocks in good shape. A couple of times a year I'll bust out the Skidmore's and give all of our pairs of Oiled Leather Birkenstocks a good workover with this.

If you know, you know. Apparently Skidmores's is the best in the business. I have no complaints. Recently got a buffalo leather Chesterfield. Twice a year, I'll be breaking this jar out, for many years to come.
