If you ride in heavy rain, snow, or truly wet conditions, our Biker Edition Beeswax Waterproofing is the ultimate defense for your motorcycle leathers. Made with almost pure beeswax, it delivers maximum protection for gear that gets soaked. It applies smoothly, penetrates deeply into the leather, and forms a durable, long-lasting waterproof seal on the surface - keeping water out while preserving the leather's natural breathability.

Perfect for boots, shoes, jackets, chaps, gloves, saddlebags, seats, and any riding leather exposed to serious moisture.

Features:

  • Maximum Natural Waterproofing – Almost pure beeswax formula designed specifically for leather that faces extreme wet conditions, repelling rain, snow, and puddles with ease.
  • Smooth & Easy Application – Goes on effortlessly, absorbs deeply, and leaves a strong, lasting waterproof barrier that protects without cracking or stiffening the leather.
  • Safeguards All Your Gear – Ideal for boots, shoes, jackets, chaps, gloves, saddlebags, seats, and other motorcycle leather that needs serious protection from heavy moisture.
  • Proudly Made in the USA – Premium, handcrafted product engineered and produced in the Pacific Northwest by a small family business since 1984—trusted quality for serious riders.
  • Perfect for Wet-Road Riders – Keeps your investment dry and supple through the toughest weather, so your leathers stay protected and perform mile after mile.

Works well in concert with a good leather cleaning/conditioning with the company’s other products.

I purchased both the biker edition leather conditioner and water proofing to treat my newly purchased saddlebags and a seat I have on the way. The conditioner made the leather supple and smooth and the water proofing cream caused an unexpected rain to bead right off. They slightly darkened the leather, but I think it looks great (see photo). Would recommend to anyone interested in protecting their investment in leather on their motorcycle.

Seriously good product.

I bought this 2008 Vespa LX150 recently. Leather seat needed conditioning (photo 1). It easily soaked up an entire bottle of leather conditioner, and still seemed thirsty. I applied a generous coat of this product and left scooter in the sun. Repeated the next day. Leather is coming along nicely and I expect this will be steadily more supple with repeat applications.

This stuff restores wood!

We used this product on a sun dried antique buffet hutch. It came to life like we had never seen before! Of course it is an amazing product on leather and I recommend it to anyone who owns leather goods but the wood restoration came as a bonus!

Waterproofing

Great product. Good coverage and easy to use. Does not have a foul smell like other brands. Was able to treat our coats with this item also.

Good, economical stuff

I got this to condition, waterproof and care for leather chaps for motorcycle riding. The jar has lasted a very long time and it takes good are of my chaps. I bought this because it wss highly recommended in an article I read on leather chaps care.

Simple enough.

I bought this to waterproof my leather saddlebags and it comes highly recommended. Easy enough to use and when out in the rain it seems to do the trick. smells funny but i recommend.

Wouldn't trust my phone to it in a leather bag

I think this product meets expectations. I think "waterproofing" is a stretch. Probably more like water resistant, but any wipe on product that isn't creating a sealed layer of plastic or high end membrane fabric probably isn't going to water proof. It did rub in pretty easy, looked good, and left a relatively not greasy film that seems to help water shed easier.

Good stuff so far

So far so good, put it on new saddlebags, an old leather jacket ans boots. Can’t say until I hit some rain with them. That said, seems quality, goes on nice and doesn’t leave a sticky gooey residue. I put it on the bags in the sun which seemed to help it penetrate the leather.

Great stuff, challenging to apply

Challenging to put on a jacket if you don't have a proper heat gun, but once it's seemed in properly so that it's no longer tacky, it works wonders for the leather. Be sure to use the use the Leather Cream first (also excellent).

Best conditioner for motorcycle leather gear

I bought this conditioner and waterproofing cream to "rescue" my Buell leather gear.I came in a terrible rain. Took me 1 1/2 days to get everything dry again. Horrible !!!Never having conditioned my leather gear I googled and found this to be the best!?After applying it to my Buell jacket and my Bühse leather pants they look perfect again.Bought two of them because I thought one wouldn't be enough. That was a mistake! One is fair enough to cream several dozend of leather jackets and pants. Just order 1!

Excellent water proofing for motorcycle leather chaps

I cleaned my motorcycle chaps and then applied Skidmore's Beeswax and the leather became almost as waterproof as rubber, plus it made them even more supple.

Great Product but Header Name is Misleading and Erroneous

Please note: This is NOT Skidmore's Leather Cream and Conditioner as suggested by the seller. It is the Beeswax Waterproofing. The seller has evidently (unintentionally, I hope) merged the two products into one name. Just to be clear, there is Skidmore's Leather Cream and there is Skidmore's Beeswax Waterproofing. This product is the latter. It does work great as a waterproofer but if you want to condition your leather shoes, tack, handbags, chaps, jackets, etc., you need the Leather Cream. You can buy it direct from Skidmore's as it's not available on Amazon. Amazon needs to correct this misleading product header. I got burned and received the wrong thing as I went with the description but I needed the Leather Cream, not Waterproofing.

Wonderful product will never be without it

I used this product on some horse tack that had been hanging in a barn for about 15 yrs. it came out almost as good as new. I also used it on a pair of reins that I have had hanging in my tack room for 30 yrs. they are just as good as when I bought them 30 yrs. ago. Granted all this leather was in relatively good shape other than just sitting and not being used for all those years and was extremely dirty but I was amazed at how soft and supple it became with just one application. I cleaned the leather with soap and water first then used some Lexol leather cleaner and then applied the Skidmores and it just made the biggest difference in the softness of the leather and taking away cracks and scratches.

but is nothing like the Skidmores Actual Leather Cream

I give the item a 5 Star review, but the ad is so far from what it is advertising, here is why. The add for this item says Leather Cream, when it arrived it is the WATERPROOFING CREAM, which I can say it is a cream that does protect your leather, but is nothing like the Skidmores Actual Leather Cream, what I was expecting. The Leather Cream goes on very smooth and treats your leather, and the Waterproofing is much thicker, kinda like bees wax. It leaves a somewhat sticky residue, and does waterproof, but the Waterproofing is great for what it does, but I would not put it on my Leather Motorcycle Seat because of it being like bees wax that is sticky. So, be sure, if you want The Leather Cream, make sure it says Leather Cream on the lid or cap, and not Waterproofing, they are both Top Shelf treatments, but I would not put this product on my Leather Seat. It works Fantastic on my Boots and my leather saddle bags. I don't sit on them. For my seat treatment it gets the Skidmores Leather Cream, and not the Waterproofing. It makes it sticky. Hope this is not to technical. I now have 3 tubs of waterproofing, that will last 3-4 years. My Leather Cream is just about gone. I needed the Cream and was sent Waterprofing. Still a priceless deal. The Price was also very affordable for the Waterprofing cream. Thanks Bubba Woody

I bought this to keep my family's collection of Birkenstocks in good shape. A couple of times a year I'll bust out the Skidmore's and give all of our pairs of Oiled Leather Birkenstocks a good workover with this.

If you know, you know. Apparently Skidmores's is the best in the business. I have no complaints. Recently got a buffalo leather Chesterfield. Twice a year, I'll be breaking this jar out, for many years to come.
